Pricing Tiers
WP Transcription offers three different price
tiers to fit whatever your project need might be.
Tier I:
Described as a note taking tier, this once
through transcript offers a quick look proofing with
slightly less accuracy but capturing maybe all that
you would need for your notes allowing for more
attention on the interview at hand.
For example, 60 minutes x $1.75 per minute =
$105.00
Tier II:
This basic transcript includes playback proofing
versus the quick look proofing as in Tier I. We
can’t promise 100% accuracy but we certainly will
try our best. Unfamiliar words will be looked up on
the Internet and we request a “difficult terms” list
in the beginning to help with acronyms or unfamiliar
technical terms. What we can't type correctly we'll
put our attempt in parenthesis, i.e. [HIPA?]. The
rate for this tier is $2.25 per recorded minute.
For example: 60 minutes x $2.25 = $135.
Tier III:
For the transcript that needs everything:
• Playback proofing
• Time code at the top of each page to
quickly locate an area on
the audio.
• Interviewer dialogue in italics or bold
for easier review.
The rate for this tier is $2.75 per recorded
minute.
Again, if your recording is 60 minutes long,
60 x 2.75 = $165.
A rush charge of 20% will be applied to the tier of
your choice needing a 24 hour turnaround. These must
be received by 12 P.M. to be returned by 12 P.M. the
following day.
A 5% discount will be applied for payment within 10
days.
